What better way to capture classic elegance than mint pocket wedding invitations? Brittney and Derek’s invitation set was the perfect “accompany-mint” for the essence of their wedding, pun intended. The two were married at Emerald at Queensridge on April 16, 2016.

For Brittney and Derek’s Save the Date, we designed the card on a pearl shimmer stock incorporating the photos that they loved most. In the lower right corner of the Save the Date, we added a calendar to mark the big day. Within the layout of the calendar, we included subtle details such as the mint heart placed on their wedding date, as well the pop of color in the burgundy script font to help tie in the colors in the found on the attire worn in the photos.

Following the Save the Date was the couple’s invitation set. Brittney and Derek decided to take a spin on our Marisa collection from our ready-to-order line. Suited in a mint green color, the invitation pocket unfolds to reveal the pearl shimmer invitation card. On the card, the couple’s names pop in a mint script font in contrast to the remaining wording dressed in a soft gray with an old lavender hue. The invitation card’s corners are embellished with delicate gray flourishes.

The set also is enclosed with a shimmer pocket tag with Brittney and Derek’s monogram. For their monogram we kept the design minimal and allowed the the twists and swirls within the script font to act as the letters’ adornment. This pocket tag adds a simple finish to the invitation set.
